From their very first days, our puppies are carefully monitored around the clock. We maintain detailed health records, follow a strict vaccination schedule, administer regular dewormings, and schedule vet checkups to ensure each pup grows just the way they should.

Before any puppy goes home, whether by pickup or shipping, they receive a full health examination from a licensed veterinarian. This exam covers everything from their heart and lungs to their joints, eyes, ears, and skin. We want to make absolutely sure there are no congenital or preventable health issues, and we’re fully transparent with the vet findings. You’ll receive all documentation from that visit along with your puppy, including a record of vaccinations, deworming dates, and a copy of the vet’s signed health certificate.

We stand behind the health of every puppy we raise, which is why we offer a written health guarantee for all of our Havanese puppies. This includes a 72-hour initial window in which you can have your puppy examined by your own licensed vet. If a serious undisclosed health condition is diagnosed during this time that significantly impacts the quality of life, and is confirmed by a licensed veterinarian, we will offer either a replacement puppy (from the next available litter) or a fair and appropriate resolution. Our extended health guarantee covers genetic conditions for a full year from the puppy’s date of birth. This includes issues that may arise due to inherited disorders that were not evident at the time of sale.

We always advise our families to continue routine vet care, keep the puppy on a proper diet, and follow vaccination schedules to ensure that health is maintained throughout the puppy’s transition and growth. Failure to do so can void the health guarantee, as a puppy’s care after leaving our home is just as important as what happens here.

Now, for families who don’t live near us or cannot travel to pick up their puppy in person, we offer a smooth, safe, and puppy-focused shipping process. We understand how nerve-wracking it can be to imagine your new family member traveling without you, which is why we treat the entire process with incredible care and attention to detail. We only use licensed and experienced pet transport professionals—people we know and trust—who understand how delicate and important this job is.

Before your puppy ships, we make sure they are well-fed, hydrated, and given time to relax in a calm, quiet space. We schedule flights or ground transportation depending on your location and preference, always choosing the safest, most efficient route available. Each puppy travels in a comfortable, appropriately sized crate with clean bedding and clear identification tags. In colder or hotter months, we work closely with airlines and transport teams to schedule routes that minimize exposure to extreme temperatures. We never ship during unsafe weather conditions, and we never rush a puppy out the door before they’re ready.

You’ll receive a full itinerary once your puppy is scheduled to travel, including confirmation of the transport company, estimated arrival time, and tips to prepare for your puppy’s homecoming. We also send you updates during the shipping process so you’re never left wondering where your pup is or how they’re doing. In most cases, puppies arrive within a few hours of departure, sleepy but calm, and ready to snuggle.

If you’d prefer, we also offer a hand-delivery option. One of our trusted puppy nannies can personally accompany your puppy in the cabin of a plane and meet you directly at your local airport. This option gives many families peace of mind and ensures their puppy has company and care every step of the way.
